The publishing industry is very difficult and "closed" to first time writers. Only rarely is a book by a first time writer picked immediately to be published. Writers work hard and often have nothing but yellowing manuscripts and rejection slips. This is an opportunity to move beyond that, to sell books, and that motivates writers to continue writing.
What is a writer's protocol for creating an e-book to publish with The Digital Word? All e-books will be submitted at 10 to 50 pages in length, including images and/or photos, bibliography, where required. The type face is Verdana, 11 pitch, set for an 11.5 x 8 inch size paper, with one inch margins on all four borders. Each page with text only will be approximately 700 words.
