Writers are everywhere, searching for "gigs" where they can apply their skills, in writers' groups, and friends of other writers. Many have just been waiting for the opportunity to be published.

Will The Digital Word expand its base of writers and books?

Yes, The Digital Word hopes to offer a vast array of books to the public in all genres and is eager to provide what readers are searching for.

Will The Digital Word have audio books, too?

Yes, we intend to have audio books and other modalities as production allows in the near future.

What if I buy a book and share it with a friend? Isn't that stealing?

Yes, it is, and alarm bells will go off on your computer and we will zero in on your house and send police to arrest you. Obviously, as with all such situations, we hope that people will be honorable and not steal.

If there is a problem downloading an e-book, will you assist to be sure someone gets what they paid for?
Absolutely. No system is fail-proof. The Digital Word makes every effort to be sure the process flows smoothly, but if a problem occurs, it will be handled immediately by the IT staff at The Digital Word.

How can you be sure someone has not plagiarized materials from others?

We cannot. We rely on the assertion of the writer who signs a contract with us that the work is his or her own. We do use a service to check work. Should we discover that work has been plagiarized, the writer's work will be removed from The Digital Word site.
